Welcome to You-sday, where we turn to our community.

This stress awareness month, we decided to ask you wise lot how you unwind when everything feels too much, from the shower bath bomb hack to the tip that ends up with the perfect dinner, you’ve given us some excellent advice.

Keep an eye on our Instagram channel to get involved with the next topic! Over to you…..

1. Charlotte Lee (our Financial Controller): Take a moment to B. R. E. A. T. H. E.

2. @livsfoster: I’m all about scent. I like lavender in my oil diffuser, spritzing my pillows with calming camomile and my favourite, a shower fizz. I don’t have a bath but I love bath bombs so I drop one into my shower at the end of a long day and there’s nothing I find more relaxing.

3. Kim Baldwin (one of our Brand Managers): A forest walk with the dog. Alternatively, a bar (or a share bag) of chocolate to myself...

4. @ellenkerry: Bath with relaxing salts, red wine, face mask and NO PHONE!

5. Kim Dibble (our Digital Marketing Manager): Moving my body. Nothing helps me to get into a better headspace and unwind from stress quite like a weight training session or dog walk.

6. @annaalfreda: A boxing class to get the pent up aggression out.

7. Steph Clifford (one of our Senior Brand Managers): Getting outside for a walk with a podcast.

8. @jojolizzy: If it’s work stress, then something that means I can’t type or look at a screen, like an eye mask, painting my nails or giving myself a hand massage.

9. @katiemilldown: Dancing to music ?

10. @sal_hoare: Downing tools and going for a walk to give myself space alone to breathe.

11. @lgbeaumont: Switch off! Notifications and any electronics. Pick up a book instead.

12. @em_hurst_: Running and cuddling my dog.

13. @reflexbyjo: There’s a reflex point on the hand for the solar plexus, located between your first and second finger on your palm, massaging that is instantly calming in any situation.

14. @misshollieb: Meditation with some lavender oil burning or on my pulse points.

15. @laurenbeautyed: I find Lego strangely therapeutic, if I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed I tend to build one of my kids sets from start to finish - it’s very calming!

16. @jenofcroths: Making pizza dough - there’s something meditative about it, plus you get to knead the crap out of it and there’s a tasty pizza at the end!

17. @jadecoopercollins: My flatmate recently moved her cat in with us and I’ve been really enjoying taking breaks for a quick playtime and lap cuddle - it’s definitely true about what they say about stroking animals to calm you down.

18. @daniellew_edit: I love opening as many windows in my house as the weather will allow. I find the fresh air really helps me when I’m feeling tense. I also give myself a tummy massage as I read recently we hold stress in our guts.

19 @brankamakeup: The only thing that tales my stress away is an at home pamper and a chilled playlist.

20. @analallanita: Alternate nostril breathing - breathe through one nostril at a time, exhaling for twice as long as you inhale. It’s instantly calming when I haven’t got time to do yoga or a swim which are my other go tos.

Check out our last You-sday feature, where you gave us your best tips for finding some mum me-time.
